Target: Managing Delegation and Online Meetings with Korean Companies

Small and Mid-Size South Korean companies were looking to enter Indian Market. Many of the Korean companies did not have experience of doing business in India. Therefore, closely working with each Korean company and introducing them with reliable and competitive partner for working together in Indian market.

Indian Market offers opportunity in Photonics sector as most of the manufacturing in India happens in the Assembly and therefore Indian companies are highly dependent on imported critical electronic components. Indian market is hugely dominated by Chinese suppliers in Photonics sector and they offer cut throat pricing which makes any other country suppliers difficult to enter the market. However, using strengths of each Korean company we introduced them with partners who are looking to diversify their sourcing from China.

WORK PROCEDURE – MARKET RESEARCH AND IDENTIFICATION OF KOREAN COMPANIES

In the first phase, IBDAC prepared marketing materials for the delegation and invited Indian companies to participate. Then IBDAC met with each of the Indian companies to examine their export capabilities, and their fit to planned activity of the business delegation with Korean Companies. The Companies who were selected to participate in the business delegation were asked to define the type of products and technologies they wish to promote as well as the type of transaction or deal they are interested in. As part of the delegation, approved companies Joined for an Online Meeting with respective teams of Korean Companies.

In the Second phase, and after all the business meetings were completed, IBDAC assisted both Indian and Korean companies for Three step follow up to ensure that business discussions are on track.

Result: Over Hundred plus Meetings as per schedule completed. 6 Distributor Agreements Signed, 3 Commercial Sample Orders placed.
Plus Multiple companies ongoing discussion for future business collaboration.
